A Mamaroneck woman is accused of shoplifting $280 worth of merchandise from a Port Chester department store, according to Port Chester police.
Mailen Verdecia, 28, of 901 Stuart Ave., Mamaroneck, was arrested after employees of the Kohl's store complained that she attempted to take jewelry and clothing items from the store without paying at about 3:14 p.m. on Monday.
She was charged with petty larceny and later released on $100 bail pending a hearing on Thursday in Port Chester Village Court.
