Mamaroneck Man Charged in $408 Theft in Port Chester

Police: 1,000 feet of electrical wire taken from Home Depot.

A Mamaroneck man is charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of $408 worth of electrical wire from a store in Port Chester, according to Port Chester Police.

Police said Barron Bizzard, 56, of 114 Richbell Rd., Mamaroneck, is accused of taking 1,000 feet of wire from the Port Chester Home Depot store on Saturday without paying for the material.

The wire, police said, was in a cart that was used by Bizzard at the store on Midland Avenue.
