On Tuesday, January 7th, 2013, at 6:21 pm, Port Chester Police responded to an accident on West William Street.
A Green Mitsubishi Montero was overturned and on its side, which apparently it jumped the curb, hit a tree and turned over. Port Chester Police immediately called EMS. EMS took the female driver out of the car. She had a bruise on her face and appeared to be ok. She was transported to Greenwich Hospital. She had smelled of alcohol. The police asked her if she had been drinking. She responded,” I only had one drink-a big drink.” according to Lt. James Ladeairius of the Port Chester Police Department.
Marianita Dejesus-Mora, 49 years old of 338 Locust Ave in Port Chester, NY was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and unlicensed operator.
