Hit & Run on Grace Church Street

On Wednesday, January 8th, 2014, a 33-year-old male from Port Chester was crossing the street on Grace Church Street and was hit by a red vehicle which ran over his right foot, the driver stopped and then took off, according to Lt. James Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police Department.

The Port Chester Police Officer on the scene then called EMS and the male was taken to Greenwich Hospital. The male had given the police officer the plate number from the vehicle. The 51-year-old driver of the vehicle turned himself into the Port Chester Police and was given a summons for leaving the scene of an accident with personal injuries, said Lt. James Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police Department.
