A trio of men inside a car that Greenwich Police stopped on I-95 near Exit 2 on Saturday night are facing drug possession charges.
According to a Greenwich Police report, the men, all from Port Chester, were arrested about 8:15 p.m. Nov. 2 after police found the passengers had narcotics and one had a dangerous weapon —a 4- to 5-inch straight razor.
The suspects were identified as:
- Kasheem M. Cooper, 40, of North Main Street, charged with possession of less than a 1/2 ounce of marijuana, possession of less than 1 kilogram with intent to sell and carrying a dangerous weapon. His bond was set at $3,500.
- Devin Chambless, 24, of Purdy Street, charged with possession of a hallucinogen and possession of less than a 1/2 ounce marijuana. His bond was set at $2,500.
- Jacquan L. Stamps, 22, of Traverse Avenue, charged with possession of a hallucinogen and possession of less than a 1/2 ounce marijuana. His bond was set at $2,500.
All three men posted bond and were scheduled to appear Nov. 11 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
