Green Nails Owner Accused of Inappropriately Touching Teenage Girl

  The owner of Green Nails nail salon in Port Chester was arrested for allegedly “endangering the welfare of a child,” a misdemeanor, after he inappropriately touched a 15-year-old employee, according to Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous.

The teenage victim was working at the salon for two weeks when on June 1 she was helping her boss, 44-year-old Ricardo Gomez-Salmeron, open boxes around 7 p.m. The owner offered to give her a massage and told her he would not inappropriately touch her, police report. Once Gomez-Salmeron started the massage he rubbed her inappropriately and placed his hands in her pants, according to the report. The girl ran out of the place and told her mother.

Two days after the incident the girl and her mother reported the incident to Port Chester police. Gomez-Salmeron was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and was held on $500 bail. He made bail and is due in Port Chester court on June 6.
