Fourth Suspect Nabbed in Port Chester Stabbing

David Enrique Lopez of Port Chester evaded detectives immediately after the incident, but now faces a felony burglary charge.

Police have arrested a fourth suspect in connection with .

David Enrique Lopz, 19, evaded capture when Port Chester police picked up three of his alleged accomplices after the Jan. 23 stabbing, Lt. James Ladeairous said.

In that incident, the 24-year-old victim was hosting a party at his Parker Avenue home when he booted Lopez from the bash for drunken antics in which he broke a window.

Lopez warned he'd be back, and later that night he returned with two other men and used 18-year-old Tamar Constanza as bait to get the victim to open the door. Constanza walked up to the home alone, and when the victim opened the door to let her in, Lopez rushed in, along with Nicholas Madinabeitia, 19, and Stewart Castro, 20.

Lopez is accused of stabbing the victim with a small folding knife. The injuries weren't life-threatening.

Detectives located and arrested Castro and Madinabeitia the following day, and Constanza was arrested on Jan. 25.

Detectives Christopher Krzeminski and Aaron Conetta were able to track Lopez down after developing more information on the case, Ladeairous said.

Lopez, of 139 Horton Ave., was charged with felony second-degree burglary. Constanza, Castro and Madinabeitia, all of Greenwich, CT, also face the same charge.
