DNA Results Help PCPD Catch Suspected Burglar

DNA results from the scene of several burglaries committed four months ago helped Port Chester police catch a suspect last week, Lt. James Ladeairous said. Luis Pinentel, 23, of Port Chester, was arrested on five counts of second-degree burglary, a felony, on Aug. 14 after the DNA results linked him to five burglaries that happened in April on Fairview Place, Spring Street, Oak Street and Glen Avenue in Port Chester, police said. Pinentel had already been arrested on two counts of felony burglary in April.
