CT Man Charged with DWI in Port Chester
Police: Driver cited for having more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
A Connecticut man is accused of drunken driving after he made a late-night turn onto a dead-end street in Port Chester, according to Port Chester Police.
Jamie Pineda, 47, of 89 Diaz St., Stamford, was arrested at 2 a.m. on Nov. 24 just off Abendroth Avenue. Police said a village patrolman thought spotted Pineda driving erratically and pulled him over when he turned into the dead-end.
Police said Pineda failed field sobriety tests and was later charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, because he had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
