CT Man Accused of Shoplifting in Port Chester

Police: $75 theft at Home Depot.

A Stamford, CT, man was charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of $75 worth of merchandise from the Port Chester store, according to Port Chester Police.

Mykola Leno, 61, of 490 Fairfield Ave., Stamford, was arrested 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 8 after store workers complained to police that he took two boxes of laminate without paying.

Police said store workers were observing Leno and one other man as they shopped in the store. However, the other man was not accused of any crime.
