Car Stolen and in Flames on I-95

A woman comes out of JT Straw's Bar & Grill on North Main Street to find that her car has been stolen.

A 2001 Grey Acura that was parked in front of JT Straw’s Bar & Grill at 435 North Main Street was stolen at 2:30am on November 23rd, said Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous.

According to Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous, witnesses saw two males, who were Hispanic driving the car northbound towards Greenwich, Ct.

Connecticut police notified Port Chester Police that the car was engulfed in flames on I-95 near Bridgeport and that the car was empty.

Police viewed video surveillance showing a male stealing the keys from the owner of the car inside of JT Straw’s Bar & Grill, said Lt. James Ladeairous.

Port Chester Police questioned Kenny Gasper, who was on the video surveillance tape, and denied that he stole the owner of the car’s keys.  He stated that he had to go to see his probation officer, said Lt. James Ladeairous. On December 17th, Parole Services held Kenny Gaspar on a warrant for his arrest.

Kenny Gaspar, 25, of 26 Cesario Place in Port Chester, NY was charged with Larceny in the 3rd degree, which is a D Felony
