Car Larcenies Reported: Stolen Tape Measure; Side Mirror

 Tape Measure Stolen from Car

A 25-foot tape measure was stolen from a car on N. Main Street on July 22 at 2:22 a.m., according got Port Chester Police Capt. John Telesca. The car owner saw the burglar allegedly break into hi scar and steal the tape measure and pointed him out to police, who then arrested the suspect, a 26-year-old Port Chester man, for larceny from a vehicle.

On July 19 at 2:38 p.m. a Grand Street resident reported that during the night, his driver side mirror was stolen from his Toyota Camry.
