i live on upland drive and i always notice that my garbage men arrive early friday and tuesday mornings around 8am but on my recycling days the crew of 3 arrives at around 2pm sometimes! i asked around and learned that recycling routes are longer and that they work way longer hours then garbage pick up crews , i also have been told the village owns two of those special recycling trucks so my question is why make the recycling burden so hard on these guys? hire more employees give people jobs and have to of those trucks out to help take some stress of the load so that there isnt 1 truck doing all that work and to keep trucks off the road during school dismissal time. just a thought.
