Community Update

I visit your town last week and went downtown.Me and my wife are both seniors and parked on north main street. We looked  all around for parking instruction's .The only sign we saw was no parking between the hours of 1A.M. and 6 A.M. .So we went for a nice walk around for about and hour .When we came back there was a ticket on windshield for 25 dollars .I happen to see a Police officer and he explain to me  about your parking meter station half a block away . I feel this is so unfair for a out of state driver .We where visiting from North Carolina for a family reunion. People don't all know about this form of pre paying for  parking .We went to Police dept. and the best they could do for us was to reduce the fine from 25 to 15 dollars .
