Visiting Hours, Service Information for Restrepo and Gomez

One of the family's who lost their daughter could use any donations people are able to give.

Port Chester's Restepro and Gomez families are doing something that is unimaginably difficult and tragically sad this week - holding visiting hours and services for their their young, beautiful daughters who were well loved by the community and their friends. Julianna Restrepo, 18, and Fernanda Gomez, 19, were both killed in a deadly car crash early Sunday morning.

Visiting hours for Julianna Restepro will be at Craft Funeral Home, 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, N.Y. from 5 to 9 p.m., today, Sept. 4. Fernanda Gomez's family is not holding visiting hours, but only a memorial mass at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Our Lady of Mercy on Westchester Ave.

Restrepo's memorial mass is at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 at Our Lady of Mercy Church at 260 Westchester Ave., Port Chester. There will be no funeral procession.

Port Chester Trustee Luis Marino was close with one of the families and has been helping them to make arrangements during this difficult week. The Gomez family was not financially prepared for such a loss and can use any kind of help community members are willing to offer. If you would like to make a donation contact Marino at LMarino@portchesterny.com.
