Obituary: Nicola G. Sarracco, 72, of Port Chester

Nicola G. Sarracco, a resident of Port Chester and formerly of the Bronx, died April 23, 2013. He was 72.

He was born Sept. 26, 1940, in the Bronx to the late Nicola and Rose D'Amico Sarracco and was the youngest of six children. He was raised and educated in the Bronx.

He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Sarracco was a business owner and proprietor in the Bronx.

He is survived by his son and best friend Nick F. Sarracco and his wife Gina of Port Chester, daughter Audra Sutton and his devoted grandchildren whom he moved to Port Chester to be closer to, Nicholas P., Michael A. and Savannah T. Sarracco.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 761 King St. and Comley Avenue, Rye Brook.
