Obituary: Carl Bencivenga of Rye Brook Dies at Age 77

Carl Bencivenga, a resident of Rye Brook, died Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was 77.

He was born March 13, 1936, to the late Joseph and Anna Silvestro Bencivenga. He was raised and educated in Mount Vernon.

Mr. Bencivenga, a self-employed courier, was predeceased by his wife Rosemarie Morelli Bencivenga.

Mr. Bencivenga is survived by his daughters Linda Olivia of Mamaroneck and Carla Fitzgerald and husband Frank of Brewster; grandchildren Sal Olivia Jr. and Michael Olivia and Frank Fitzgerald Jr., Sean Fitzgerald and Jordan Fitzgerald, sister Josephine Troccoli of Florida.

A memorial gathering will be held 5-9 p.m. today, Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Craft Memorial Home, Inc., 40 Leicester St. Port Chester. A funeral service will be at 8 p.m.
