Leo Tigano, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2013 at the age of 92.
Leo was born on October 24, 1921, son to Angelo and Mildred Celestino. He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1940, and proudly served in the United States Army during World War II from 1942-1946. He worked as a shipping clerk for 27 years at Byram Surgical, retiring in 1986.
He is predeceased by his devoted wife Claire Miltner and loving son Robert who passed away in 1987 and 1981 respectively. He is survived by his loving children, Mary Lou (Anthony) Santora and Deena (Doug) Berry, Sandi (Ken) Dermody, Michael (Jennifer) Lovallo and Sherri (Christopher) Achten, and his three great-grandchildren Alivia, Alexa and Michael.
Viewing will be held on Thurs Jan 2nd from 4-8PM.
Mass will be on Fri Jan 3rd in Holy Rosary Church at 10am.
Interment to follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY.
