Gift Ideas for Martial Arts Students

Over the years I have bought my kids a variety of gifts and here are a few of their favorites:

It’s that time of year already…the time that we go crazy trying to find the perfect gifts for our children. If you have a child who is a martial arts student, like me, you know how challenging it can be to get a gift. Over the years I have bought my kids a variety of gifts and here are a few of their favorites:

*Belt Display: Earning a belt is what every kid works towards but once they move up in rank, what do you do with the old ones? How about proudly displaying them as a reminder of their hard work and success! A Wooden Display Rack from Lillian Vernon is great and inexpensive. Or, if you prefer, we can purchase one for you through Asian World of Martial Arts.

*Protective Gear: As your kids continue to move up and engage in more physical contact it’s important they are protected. A new helmet or pair of boxing gloves make a great holiday gift… and it’s something they already need.

*New Uniform: If you’re the one doing laundry you know what a uniform can smell like after a few training sessions. A new uniform is something your kids will use and appreciate as a gift. Believe it or not, they can smell the old one too!

*Training Bag: As parents we’re always looking to give our kids an edge. If you have the extra space in a spare room, basement or garage, a Wavemaster Training Bag makes a great gift. It will keep your kids active at home and allow them to continue their in class training.

*Snowman or Santa Karate Ornaments: It’s not always the size of the gift that’s important. There are some great martial arts ornaments to give your son or daughter to show how proud you are of their training. A little gift goes a long way!

If you need help picking up one of the items above or have other ideas let us know. Happy shopping and happy holidays!
