Friday, November 1: Roller Skating at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center at Town of Greenwich Parks & Recreation. Bring your kids rollerskating at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center! Friday, November 1: The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze at Van Cortlandt Manor. See more than 5,000 individually hand-carved, illuminated jack o’ lanterns in this elaborate walk-through experience. Meander through an historic, 18th-century riverside landscape and discover a breathtaking display–all made of jack o’ lanterns!

Friday, November 1: To Kill a Mockingbird at Philipstown Depot Theater. Harper Lee's classic novel To Kill A Mockingbird is brought to the stage in this moving adaptation by Christopher Sergel.

Saturday, November 2: Day of the Dead Celebration - Día de los Muertos at Hudson River Museum. Día de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday, honors deceased loved ones. Celebrate with Mexican and Ecuadorian food, Mexican music, face painting, and crafts that make the day’s symbolism real.

Saturday, November 2: NCTC Presents The Cat in the Hat at Northeast Children's Theatre Company. Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss? The Northeast Children's Theatre Company brings The Cat in the Hat to life onto the stage with chaotic exuberance in this adaptation from the National Theatre of London. You and your kids will have a ton of fun!

Saturday, November 2: Daddy & Me Animal Show at Rye Nature Center at Rye Nature Center. 9:15 -10:00 AM. Fathers can drop in with their kids for this fun-filled animal adventure. $10/family members, $15/family non-members

Sunday, November 3: Touch-A-Truck & Chili Cook-Off at Stamford Museum & Nature Center. Get up close and personal with some cool larger-than-life vehicles during Touch-A-Truck at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center.

Sunday, November 3: Happy Birthday New Rochelle at City of New Rochelle. The concert will feature New Rochelle school children as well as professionals including actress Frances Sternhagen and the Amber Woodwind Quintet. Event at Columbus School (275 Washington Avenue, New Rochelle NY 10801).

Sunday, November 3: Shark Dive Observation at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk at City of New Rochelle. The Maritime Aquarium's dive team spends quality time with the sand tiger sharks, lemon shark and other creatures. Thanks to a cool communication link, you can even talk with the divers while they're in the exhibit with the sharks!
