Get set for a spooky, but fun night at Lyon Park.

The Port Chester Recreation Department is getting set to host its "Halloween in the Park" parade and party on Monday, Oct. 29, at Lyon Park.

The free event for children of all ages features prizes for the scariest, funniest, cutest and most original costumes.

Halloween in the Park starts at 5:30 p.m. with a costume parade that will be led by the Port Chester Middle School Band. Line up starts at the Girl Scout House. The costume contest takes place after the parade.

Candy will be given out, but not until after the parade. The event is also sponsored by TD Bank.

In case of rain, Halloween in the Park will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 30. For more information on the parade and costume party, call 914-939-2354.
