Young Musicians Spread Holiday Cheer at The Westchester

Young singers delighted shoppers with holiday tunes at the White Plains mall.

The following is from the Music Conservatory of Westchester:

Spreading holiday cheer throughout the community this season, the White Plains’ Music Conservatory of Westchester held festive concerts at the nearby Westchester Mall featuring its students and faculty. The concerts, which were held outside of the Tourneau store as well as inside Nieman Marcus through Dec. 22, marked the second time this year the not-for-profit music school provided entertainment for mall shoppers and music lovers. Last summer, a series of successful classicial and jazz concerts were held.  Pictured: students in the Youth Chorus with MCW faculty member Jeanai LaVita, and accompanist Hyemin Kang. For information about Conservatory programming or its “community music week” in January, which features free classes and special programming, contact info@musiced.org or call (914) 761-3900.
