Round Hill Country Dances at North Stamford Congregational Church

Round Hill Annual Thanksgiving Special!  Dance to Black River Ironworks - 3 amazing young musicians - and very creative caller, Ron T Blechnerhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOocSzIoJvQ

Beginning with open waltzing to recorded tunes and a silent auction starting a 5 pm, the evening continues with a "brown bag" supper at 6 pm, beginner lesson at 7:30, and contradancing 8-11 pm.  Festive refreshments at 9:30.  $15.

This is a very social dance.  All dances are taught and newcomers are always welcome.  You'll dance with everyone - you don't have to bring a partner.  Comfortable clothing (see the link above to get the picture) and soft-soled shoes recommended.  A brown bag supper means we all bring our own dinner and enjoy a meal together.  Non-alcoholic.  Dessert contributions always welcome.

For more information:  203-372-3890, www.roundhill.net, www.meetup.com/roundhill-contradance/  Regular monthly dances are on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
