TAKES THE STAGE AT RYE PLAYLAND JULY 27

Get ready for a great night of music and
fun when R5 takes the stage, live in
concert on Saturday,

July 27, at Playland’s
Music Tower Theater. The show starts at 6 p.m. and Playland’s rides will be open from 12 noon through 12
midnight. While reserved stage seating is sold out on Ticketmaster, the concert
is free with your Playland park admission for “standing room only” or lawn
seating, so bring blankets and chairs.

R5 features lead vocalist Ross Lynch and
his three siblings, Riker, Rydel, Rocky, and their childhood friend, Ellington
Ratliff. Ross is known for his starring role on Disney Channel’s original hit
series Austin & Ally. Bassist
Riker is known for his role as Jeff, one
of the popular Dalton Academy Warblers on Fox’s hit television
series Glee. R5 released its
Hollywood Records EP,“Loud” in February of this year, and is currently
recording a debut album that is set for a September release.

            Playland’s concerts, sponsored by
WFAS, 103.9 FM, continue with Kidz Bop Kids on August 10 and Jake Miller on
August 23. Concerts are free with Playland park admission for “standing room
only” or lawn seating. Limited reserved seating is available through Ticketmaster.com
and will be available for sale at the park on the day of the show only. Parking
is $7 per car on weekends, $5 on weekdays.
