Letter to the Editor: Gelfarb for Lower Taxes and Better Government

For the 4 years that David Gelfarb served the Town of Rye as Councilman, the Town reduced taxes every year.  David made important contributions to the Town’s capacity to reduce expenditures which enabled the reduction in taxes.

I was therefore delighted two years ago when voters in the Town of Rye and Harrison elected David as their County legislator.     Since being voted into office David has been instrumental in helping the County hold the line on taxes, reduce governmental expenditure and fight for prudent home rule defenses against federal government overreach.

In addition to working to hold the line on taxes, David has worked hard to support his constituents on issues ranging from the airport to community outreach.

While all of the above is eminently commendable, the real reason to vote for David Gelfarb is because he has always demonstrated total and complete integrity in carrying out his duties on behalf of his constituents.

Please vote for David Gelfarb for County Legislator for two more years of good government with integrity.
