A 29-year-old woman was attacked by a pit bull while walking on S. Regent Street near Grant Street at 3 a.m. June 28, police report. She had several deep wounds to both hands and was bleeding. EMS transferred her to Greenwich hospital. The dog was no where in the area when police arrived.
