Two Greenwich Brothers Charged with Brutal Beating In Port Chester

The brothers are charged with felony assault.

Two brothers are accused of attacking four men with a pipe and tire iron on South Main Street early Sunday morning, according to Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous. The four men, two 24-year-old and two 30-year-old Connecticut residents, were transported to Greenwich Hospital where they were treated for head injuries and released the next day, according to police.

Police arrested the alleged attackers, Nicholas Ceci, 24, and Vittorio Ceci, 26 - residents of 121 Lower Cross Road, Greenwich, Ct.- on felony assault charges around 4:19 a.m. June 16.

The altercation began at Sam’s bar on Mill Street around 4 a.m., police said. The bar closed and the group of four men headed towards Texas Chili, according to the distraught father of one of the 30-year-old victims. When the Ceci brothers found the group they allegedly jumped out of their car and assaulted them with weapons.

The victim who was most seriously injured is a 24-year-old man from Norwalk, Ct. He suffered a facial fracture, air on his brain and required nine sutures on his face, according to Ladeairous. Another 30-year-old Bridgeport, Ct. victim needed seven stitches for a head injury and another 24-year-old victim, also from Norwalk, required four inside sutures and 13 exterior staples for a head injury, Ladeairous said. Police did not have information on the fourth victim’s injuries, but Ladeairous said the 24-year-old Norwalk man who suffered air to his brain was the most seriously injured of the four. All were released on Sunday, Ladeairous said.

The Cecis were each charged with one count of assault in the First Degree, a Class B felony, and three counts of assault in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony. Each made a $2,500 bail and are due back in Port Chester court on July 22.
