A truck that was stuck under the bridge on King Street kept going on June 28 at 5:30 p.m. The driver, a 36-year-old man from Indiana, said he did not see the bridge clearing sign that said 12 feet and drove his 13’6 foot truck under it. The truck had damage to the top. He was arrested and ticketed for exceeding the bridge clearance, disobeying traffic control devise and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, all violations. The driver was released on bail and is due back in Port Chester court on July 16.
