Memorial Day weekend is finally upon us and all Westchester residents know what that means: beach season.

All county beaches are officially open for weekends on a pre-season basis this Saturday May 28-Monday May 30, so grab a bikini and get ready to catch some rays on the shores of the Hudson River or the Long Island Sound.

Weekend and holiday hours at Playland Beach, Playland Park, Rye Beach, Croton Point Beach or Croton-on-Hudson are from 11a.m. to 6 p.m.
