Shop Lifting Arrests in Port Chester

Two women were arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s in Port Chester last week.

Police say a 24-year-old Peekskill woman was caught by Kohl’s security after they found her with $260 worth of jewelry stuffed in her bra on June 19 at 12:24 p.m.. The woman had brought the items into a fitting room and left the tags there, police said. She was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.

Another woman, a 34-year-old Bronx resident, was arrested on June 18 at 5:30 p.m. for stealing $349 worth of makeup, perfume and jewelry from Kohl’s police said.

The woman had stolen the items from Kohl’s and was then seen leaving in a Honda Civic. Police found her on S. Main Street and found the items stuffed under the seat of her car, police report. She was also charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
