A passel of parents and youngsters waited in a winding queue Thursday evening in downtown Port Chester to meet with St. Nick—and pass along any crucial gift ideas.
Santa was escorted into the village by the Port Chester Fire Department, and presided over the lighting of the village's Christmas tree.
Children were able to grab hot chocolate, and help themselves to a toy provided by local sponsors.
