[UPDATE] Port Chester Scouts Meet the Police Chief

Troop 400 members at Carver Center working on their Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge.

Port Chester Boy Scouts got a visit Wednesday night from Port Chester Police Chief Joseph Krzeminski.

He met with the Boy Scouts from Carver Center Troop 400 to help them with their Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge, under the instruction of Merit Badge Counselor and Port Chester Village Trustee Dan Brakewood. 

Citizenship in the Community is required for the Rank of Eagle Scout.

Krzeminski said he thought the session went great.

"The Boy Scouts were very inquisitive." Krzeminski said. "They asked many questions about being a police officer, how the department was set up and things along those lines."
