POLL: Should Schools Spoil Santa Story for Students?

A Nanuet teacher is in hot water with some parents after telling second-graders that Santa doesn't exist.

Across the Hudson River, an elementary school teacher has angered some parents by spoiling the Santa story for second-graders.

The Nanuet class was in the middle of a geography lesson when students identified the North Pole as the stomping grounds of Santa. Parents say the teacher is more of a scrooge for telling the youngsters that St. Nick doesn't exist.
