POLL: Do Developers Have A Legitimate Beef In Port Chester?

Are elected leaders stifling revitalization, or finally doing right by citizens?

This week, two deep-pocketed developers brought a litany of complaints to Port Chester's trustees, saying politics is getting in the way of revitalization.

Capitol Theatre owner Marvin Ravikoff, who also owns several other properties in town, was the first to chime in. G&S partner Robert Weinberg followed, saying he can't get elected leaders to budge despite designing a proposed development to their specifications.

Patch readers who commented on the story didn't have much sympathy for the developers, and said they believe trustees are looking out for their interests.
