Police: Drunk PC Driver Slammed One Parked Car Into Another

Police arrested a 24-year-old Port Chester man for Driving While Intoxicated on June 23 at 4:21 a.m., according to Police Lt. James Ladeairous.

Police received a call about a motor vehicle accident where two cars had rear end damage because a driver had hit one parked car into another on King Street.

Police followed a trail of engine fluid that led away from where the accident was and found a vehicle with leaking fluid and pulled the driver over. They smelled alcohol and noticed the driver had blood shot eyes, police said. The driver admitted being in an accident.

He was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated DWI, both misdemeanors, and leaving the scene of an accident, a violation.
