What a Mess: Dumping on Port Chester

Do you know of a dumping ground that needs to be cleaned up? Tells us about it in the comments, upload photos of the mess.

There are lots of signs posted in the parking lot at the rear of 140 Midland Ave. in Port Chester, but it doesn't look like anyone is paying attention to the bright yellow signs.

Tucked in a back corner of the lot, along the railroad embankment, clothing donation bins are surrounded by piles of trash and assorted debris. The bins, still new looking with their bright white and green paint job, stand out in stark contrast to the junk piled around them.

Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla, when alerted to the dumping, said he would have the village check out the problem.
