Man Charged in Late-Night Fight at Port Chester Train Station Parking Lot

Police: Village officers assisting MTA police with crowd from concert at Capitol Theatre.

An upstate New York man has been arrested after police broke up a fight that broke out in a large group gathered in the Port Chester train station parking lot at about 1 a.m. Thursday, according to Port Chester Police.

Village officers, at the time, were assisting MTA police officers with a crowd of about 250 people at Broad Street following a concert at the nearby Capitol Theatre. Police said village officers spotted two men involved in a fight and broke up the fight.

However, police said Alan Tenna, 42, of 894 Middle Road, Horseheads, NY, who was involved with the fight, began to fight with Port Chester police officers. As a result, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Police said the second man involved with the fight ran off and could not be located.

The train station parking lot has been jammed all week in connection with the Further shows at the Capitol Theatre.
