I-95 Commuters Heading East Get New Food, Rest Stop Options

Two plazas along I-95 in CT will open later this year, while a third will open in 2013.

For Port Chester commuters and vacationers headed east, soon there will be a few new places to stretch your legs, latch on to a wifi signal or grab a bite to eat.

Groton Patch blogger Corey Sipe lists some early details in a blog post this week:

"Visitors can enjoy shopping alongside a food court with seating, wireless Internet, and restrooms.

Food vendors in both buildings will include a Subway, McDonald's, Dunkin' Donuts, and Sbarro.

Both facilities will offer retail shops including a Statement Shop with t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other apparel, along with a Fast Freddie's Convenience Store, according to Connecticut Department of Transportation Spokesman Kevin Nursick."
