Burglary Attempt on Fox Island Road in Port Chester
Resident spots damage to window, door; nothing stolen.
A residence on Fox Island Road in Port Chester was targeted for an apparent burglary, according to Port Chester Police.
A village resident told police she arrived home Thursday night to find damage to the back door to her basement apartment. Police said she also found that there was damage to a window.
Although it appeared someone tried to break into the apartment, police said the attempt was not successful and nothing was taken.
