Equus at the Castle Hotel & Spa Introduces Prix-Fixe "Restaurant Month" Lunch and Dinner Program

General manager Gilbert Baeriswil has announced that special prix-fixe, three-course lunch and dinner menus will be offered during "Restaurant Month" at Equus at Castle Hotel & Spa in Tarrytown. The program will run from Monday, February 17 through Sunday, March 9, 2014.

Lunch is priced at $29 per person and dinner will cost $48. Gratuity and tax are extra. Lunch includes a glass of wine paired by the sommelier for the main course selected. At dinner, a 50 percent discount will be offered on selected bottles of wine.

During Restaurant Month, patrons can choose from two appetizers, two main courses and two desserts on the Restaurant Month menu.

Appetizer

  1. Celery Root Soup. Chestnuts, Honey Crisp Apples, Cream, Chives
  2. Chopped Salad. Local Organic Greens, Crispy Wonton, Crudités, Ginger Vinaigrette

  1. Montauk Point Skate Wing. Sauce Grenobloise, Yukon Gold Potato Purée, Brussels Sprouts
  2. 48 Hour Braised Beef Short Rib. Creamed Spinach, Wild Mushrooms, Crispy Parsnip

Dessert

  1. Frangipan and Berry Tart. Cranberry Frozen Yogurt
  2. Belgian Chocolate Mousse Cake. Caramel Gelato
