Tails of Courage Dog and Puppy Charitable Rescue Organization

The Immigration Law Offices of Cynthia R. Exner, LLC is a proud sponsor of the charitable dog and puppy rescue organization known as Tails of Courage, www.tailsofcourage.org.  Tails of Courage was started in 2009 by a survivor of the World Trade Center attacks, after seeing all the dedicated rescue dogs climbing through the wreckage at Ground Zero.

Tails of Courage rescues dogs from West Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and New York City, relying on volunteer transport drivers to bring them to Connecticut.  All dogs and puppies are fully vetted, given all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped.  Every dog can be adopted by loving families, and come with doggie bags of goodies, coupons and discounts.  Tails of Courage endeavors to make dog ownership available to all families, regardless of financial ability.  Tails of Courage is also proud to sponsor other programs such as Run Your Race, Traveling Tails, Tails for Tots, Zenas Saintz and Heroic Paws.  You can follow Tails of Courage at www.facebook.com/tailsofcourage

This is Pebbles, a baby female Chihuahua mix about 11 or 12 weeks old that was found as a stray in Kentucky roaming and barely surviving with another little Chihuahua mix called Wigglepants.  The rescue workers who found these two pups thought that Wigglepants and Pebbles might be sisters.  Wigglepants got adopted at the last TOC Adoption Event at Tractor Supply in New Milford.  Pebbles is still searching and waiting for her forever family.

Nico has just arrived at the TOC kennel.  Nico is a small male Maltese that is about 8 years old and housebroken.  He came from New York City.  He was living with a family there, but the family decided they didn’t want him anymore.  Nico is very sad and confused.  His fur was so matted that he had to be shaved.  But, we told him not to worry because his fur will grow back.  We are all trying to make Nico feel loved and wanted, but he doesn’t understand and only wants to go home.  You can see Pebbles and Nico online at www.tailsofcourage.org, along with all the other wonderful dogs and puppies that are available for adoption.

There aren’t any adoption events planned for this weekend because it’s Father’s Day Weekend.  But please don’t let these homeless animals just sit waiting.  Please tell all your friends to come by and consider adopting a homeless animal that has nothing so they can spend their weekend with your family.

And please visit www.facebook.com/walkwithrascal to see The Charming Challenge.  Charming, a male shepherd mix has been living at the Tails of Courage kennel for over 7 months, longer than any other dog at the kennel and really needs to find his forever family.
