Port Chester High School Marching Band Senior Sidelined, But Not Forgotten

Band members sign shirt to honor trumpet player out with injury.

An injury has kept Port Chester High School Marching Band member Joe Verrastro from performing with the band, but his bandmates have not forgotten him.

To let the senior trumpet player know how much he's missed, out from his ACL surgery, members of the band made and signed a special shirt for Joe at a pot luck dinner for the band.

His mother, mom, Anne Verrastro, is on the exec board for the Port Chester High School Band Association and is a big part of the Sunday band recycling program that has been going on for years.
