Capitol Theatre Adds 9th Performance of Furthur

Featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, another show set for April 15.

After selling out eight nights at The Capitol Theatre in roughly 48 hours, Furthur, featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, a ninth show has been added to the group's in Port Chester in April.

With the added April 15 show, the nine-night run will mark Futhur's longest consecutive run of shows in a single venue, and will tie the Grateful Dead's record for longest consecutive run on the East Coast.

The Grateful Dead considered the Port Chester rock palace one of their favorite venues, playing there 18 times in 1970-71 alone. Jerry Garcia once said, "There's only two theater that are set up pretty groovy all around for music - The Fillmore East and the Capitol Theatre."

Furthur will perform April 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, and 25.
