Once the curtain is drawn

The race for the Mayor of Port Chester.

I have two political lawn signs on my front lawn. Two names, Dan Brakewood & Luis Marino are good friends of mine and definitely have my vote. The other names go along with the sign.

In considering  the Mayoral race, I have known Neil Pagano for at least 45 years, via the Port Chester Fire Department and through delivering mail to his family business which was then located on North Main Street. I feel that Neil is a good choice for Mayor. My problem in considering to possibly vote for him, is his association with the Terenzi, Didden ticket. The saying, "birds of a feather, flock together," seem to ring in my mind. Joe Penner once quoted, "if you walk like a duck, and talk like a duck, and associate with ducks, then it is assumed you are a duck."

As the title of this blog is once the curtain is drawn, once I do vote, the curtain is drawn and only I know who I voted for. With the selection of a new Pope for the Roman Catholic being processed, I would hope that the right candidates for the Pope and the Mayor of Port Chester be selected.
