Early voting

My reaction to all the election hoopla.

My wife Lucille asked me to go to Costco's to pick up 2 gallons of milk. Costco is 20 cents cheaper than some of the local markets. Being that the price of gas is so high, I decided to go to 222 Grace Church Street after I was through with Costco's, 1 Westchester Ave. I didn't check my odometer but I felt it was cost effective to go and vote for the Mayor & Trustee's election. It was worth it for me to vote today. Having attained the age of 72 on March 8th, I need to consider my mortality. At least now I can die, knowing that I voted with my heart. I didn't vote for Pagano, Didden & Terenzi. I would have loved to vote for Neil, but the baggage that goes with Didden & Terenzi is too much for me to handle. It is remarkable that at the time of an election, there is so much name calling and then afterwards silence. Having lived in Port Chester for 72 years minus a 3 year Army enlistment, I know now that my three sons made the right move when they got married and went where their spouse's wanted to live. My 2 daughters are still here in Port Chester, with their families. They are the ones I feel sorry for. There is one advantage though of living in Port Chester. They can be amused in watching the bi monthly board meetings on Verizon channel 43. No need to get tickets for the circus. No need to listen to Judy Collin's song, "bring in the clowns," as she closes in her song, "don't bother, they're here."
