Westchester Department of Health Provides Free Immunizations for Back-to-School

The Westchester County Department of Health will be offering free back-to-school immunizations to children during August and September.

In light of recent child cases of whooping cough reported in Westchester and national measles outbreaks, the Department of Health is recommending that parents make sure their kids are up-to-date with all shots, including the flu shot.

The free immunizations are offered by appointment during back-to-school clinics for ages 1 through 18 who are uninsured or have insurance that does not cover immunizations.
