The Cap, Waiting for Full Juice

The Capitol Theatre is dark until it has enough power to put on a proper rock show.

The Capitol Theatre has postponed six shows due to Hurricane Sandy's effect on the area. While they did experience some flooding in their sub-basement, all else seems OK, said Marketing Manager Jonathan Healey.

"We're experience low power levels and cannot support enough juice to put on shows," Healey said of why the shows have been postponed for the last week.

"Until we restore to full power, we're going dark. All shows through Meatloaf have been postponed. George Lopez has been rescheduled for Feb. 22, 2013, but the others are still to be determined," Healey said.
