Rye Brook Farmer's Market Is Saturday
The village's first indoor farmer's market is this weekend at the Anthony J. Posillipo Community Center.
Rye Brook's first indoor farmer's market is scheduled for tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Anthony J. Posillipo Community Center, at 32 Garibaldi Pl.
A long list of vendors includes Guyank Brand (sweet and hot pepper sauces), Gaia’s Breath Farm (an organic meat vendor of free-range lamb, pork, veal and chicken), Humingbird Ranch (honey, maple syrup and beeswax products), Kontoulis Family (olive oil, olive spreads), Picklelicious, Serendipitea Teas and Spices, Taiim Falafel and Flour City Pasta (organic artisinal pasta).
Local vendors include of Port Chester, who will conduct cooking demos; Sandra Dennis, a jewelry-maker from Rye Brook; and Lisa Lombardi, a Rye Brook party-planner and owner of Lavish Events.

Organizer Liz Rotfeld says there are plans for the farmer's market to become a twice-monthly event in Rye Brook.
