Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers gave a lively performance to a crowd that showed up for their free show at Garcia’s Thursday night. The group was supposed to open for the B-52’s, who had to postpone their show because lead singer Cindy Wilson fell i, The Cap announced late in the day Thursday. (The Cap said: “Cindy"s illness is not life threatening but her doctor has ordered her to take immediate bedrest.”)
But the Gramblers came through and gave a show that was a little bit of country, a little rock and a little blues - a mix that had the crowd dancing and singing along in the intimate space of The Cap’s lobby where Garcia’s shows are held.
