Love's Labor's Lost Performance is Saturday

Snorks and Pens Productions teams up with Friends of Crawford Park for an outdoor performance of Shakespeare's Love's Labor's Lost on Saturday.

With sunny skies and temperatures in the high 60s, it looks to be a perfect fall night for Saturday's Shakespeare performance at Crawford Park.

Love's Labor's Lost combines comedy, court intrigue and 16th-century wit for a tale about a king and noblemen who devote themselves to three years of intellectual pursuit and find themselves tempted when a French princess and her ladies-in-waiting arrive at court.

The play was first performed in the English court for Queen Elizabeth in 1597.
